New Era decided to hold a raffle to give away one of the pieces of artwork created on the night by Alfa.. guess who won it? none other than our very own Shacky Sweet-tooth! well done done old boy.. now all we have to do is figure out where the frig we’re gonna hang it in the Bakery?? shout out to Alfa for adding the finishing touches to it!

Greetings and salutations all. Its been a while since I have been on here, so I thought I’d fly through and spread some love.

This Saturday 20.02.10 I will be celebrating my birthday, it will be held at none other than our very own Hustlins Bakery. In true Sweet-tooth style we’ll also be having a one day 25% sale on EVERYTHING at the Bakery from 6pm so make sure you attend early to get your gear.

There will be a handful of sample T’s and sweats available for sale, limited edition canvas artwork, the new ‘Since 81′ series available, Hustlins Bakery custom arcade machine with Streetfighter 2 (bring your 20p’s ..old skool baby!) plus Hustlins Bakery Dj’s providing your musical entertainment to top it all off !! Gonna be a goodun.

So far its been a productive and busy 2010. Finalising the ‘Paper Lane’ cartoon, banging out the first few tracks from the ‘Welcome to our World mixtape’ we also managed to squeeze in a spot of traveling too. Good times were had at Bread and Butter Berlin but I have never witnessed cold like that in my life, minus fifteen was a madness. If it wasn’t for the Double Gooses I’m sure I would of perished.

It was good to catch up with the guys over at Gourmet, the kicks are looking as crazy as ever. I need about 10 pairs pronto! We also had fun with some of the new era gang and got to catch up with the familiar faces, and some how even managed to get into Berghain Club.

Anyway gonna sign off now, hopefully will see you at the Bakery on Saturday. I’m gonna be showcasing my latest skank the ‘Sweet Tooth Shake’ and will be shutting down my favourite drink Roseretto (Ameretto chased with Rose) ooowww!

Incase you didnt know already its Justins birthday next saturday 12.12.09 and to celebrate we’re gonna throw a little do at Hustlins Bakery for all our friends… (thats if we can fit you all in!)

We are finally opening up the Bakery doors and we’d like you to come and celebrate with us. In true Birthday vs Christmas spirit we will be having a one day 30% sale on EVERYTHING at the Bakery from 4pm - 8pm so make sure you attend early to get your gear.

Inspired by early 80’s & 90’s arcade/console classics, from Nes to Neo Geo, Space Invaders to Street Fighter 2, Justin Hustlin will be presenting its latest collection the ‘Since 81’ series. Each piece is produced by hand in extremely limited amounts, using silkscreen printing and will be released exclusively at Hustlins Bakery.

We will be releasing the first 2 Tees that you have all voted for (via Facebook and Twitter) and as a special thank you to you all for such a great 1st year, each T-shirt in the ‘Since 81′ series will be priced at £20.

On the night music and big tunes will be provided from 8pm - late. This vid is of Patta co founder ‘Gee’ talking about their recent collaboration with Converse and Le Le on 2 trainers and 1 reversible varsity jacket. This limited edition collabo came about to celebrate the stores 5th year anniversary.

One of the things I loved so much about this vid was Gee’s t shirt, it said “We love it when our friends become successful” thats wicked I’m really feeling that. Plus when we were at Bread and Butter in Berlin Patta threw probably the best party there, it was a madness trying to get in though.

Check out this cool collabo from Stussy and our good friends from Pain O Chokolat. Our boy Oseph put us up on this and we just had to indulge. Apparently its the first ever collabo with Stussy and any French brand so that in itself is a good look, plus they were limited to 100 pieces and were hand screened by Stussy himself! These guys have done a great thing for French street culture.

If you look carefully you can see where my kid drew on the packaging, little punk!

Sorry that we haven’t been on the ball lately with the blog and all, its been mad hectic round here. With me getting pinched on the metro in Paris for our new sport barrier jumping, us golf kart racing at Bread and Butter in Berlin, moving head quarters and tree fighting in the new garden, shaking a leg at the fete sa musique in Pigalle, competing in our other sport the ‘travelator’ on the metro escalators in Berlin, the Berlin dance off with the Saturday night fever crew in the weird club that Dirty Dre took us too, OG’s weiner breakfast, the vice party in Berlin. Yadda yadda yadda

I could go on for ages. We still haven’t recovered totally so bear with us, Dre is actually still in Berlin mode as his calf muscles are still soar from all the walking around at Bread and Butter. He’s still editing the all the videos and pictures we have from all these events, there are several hundred to do! Poor dude. We’ll back back to normal pretty soon, for now check out some of these pics from Pigalle Store in Paris.

On Tuesday night me and Shacky (or should I say Shacky and I) decided to take a trip down to the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch to check out the Chester French gig. We picked up a mix cd of theirs ‘Jaques jams vol 1: Endurance’ a couple of months back… and were instantly drawn in to their Beatles type Outkast sound… they’ve got some serious bangers on there!! ….get familiar!

Anyways when we heard they were coming over, we thought it would only be right for us to pass by and show some love. We spread the word and a few others from Team Hustlin decided to Tag along.

As we arrived at the venue, we went backstage to say hello only to find none other than head chef Doughboy and The ‘Bear-doe’ Bear chilling with the guys in the midst of negotiation.

I think they wanted to rock out on stage with them, but Max and D.A didn’t seem too impressed with the idea. …Eventually they were made an offer they simply couldn’t refuse!

I’ll say no more…

As they all went out on stage the temperature in the room got hotter and hotter as bodies began to pile into the room, getting ready for the show. Doughboy took to the drums and The Bear-doe Bear was on keys…. “This is my band… we are two mans… and you must understand” Hey-Hey! the show began….

What a show!! …The guys gave a great performance and everybody shocked out to the Chester French sound.

After the gig the guys didn’t waste anytime getting their hustle on, selling “f**k Chester French” t-shirts (excuse my French) and copies of their new album ‘love the future’ at the back of the room from a little stall. We went to go and congratulate them on the show and see when they were in town next… D.A was busy signing albums and counting his doe, but we couldn’t see Max anywhere? …I think he was off trying to lay some pipe on a couple of groupies backstage

As we were on our way out the door we caught up with Max outside the venue all in a fluster, it seems the doe he was given by Doughboy and the Bear-doe Bear had been ‘misplaced’… poor guy! Don’t worry dude, swing by Hustlins Bakery next time your in town and we’ll sort you out!!
