Incase you didnt know already its Justins birthday next saturday 12.12.09 and to celebrate we’re gonna throw a little do at Hustlins Bakery for all our friends… (thats if we can fit you all in!)

We are finally opening up the Bakery doors and we’d like you to come and celebrate with us. In true Birthday vs Christmas spirit we will be having a one day 30% sale on EVERYTHING at the Bakery from 4pm - 8pm so make sure you attend early to get your gear.

In regards to payment methods we accept all forms of plastic and loose change.. but we’d prefer to have the stuff that folds

Following on in true festive spirit we will be releasing a new collection of limited edition T-shirts that will be made available on the day.

Inspired by early 80’s & 90’s arcade/console classics, from Nes to Neo Geo, Space Invaders to Street Fighter 2, Justin Hustlin will be presenting its latest collection the ‘Since 81’ series. Each piece is produced by hand in extremely limited amounts, using silkscreen printing and will be released exclusively at Hustlins Bakery.

We will be releasing the first 2 Tees that you have all voted for (via Facebook and Twitter) and as a special thank you to you all for such a great 1st year, each T-shirt in the ‘Since 81′ series will be priced at £20.

On the night music and big tunes will be provided from 8pm - late. There will also be a special catering service provided by Shacky Sweet-Tooth consisting of crates of Rosé and delicious cakes so make sure you arrive early. Also Hustlins Bakery’s very own custom arcade machine will be in full effect, so come and get your ass whooped on Streetfighter 2 by Dirty Dre or get the highest score to win some freebies.

‘Paper Lane’ is about a streetwise teen called Justin Hustlin (age 15) growing up in an inner city environment who wants to be an entrepreneur. The cartoon follows Justin and his team of close friends on their everyday paper chasing adventures.

What we require is one talented London-based actor for the role of main character:

Justin – 15, youthful upbeat London based kid. He’s a sharp witty kid, always on the ball, full of energy and has really big dreams …a natural hustler!

SYNOPSIS:

Justin dreams of fame and fortune in the manner of Richard Branson, a talking poster of whom adorns his wardrobe door. Justin’s best mate Elliot, invents weird and wonderful products for Justin to promote. The latest is a skateboard that converts into a rucksack.

An aspirational cartoon suitable for all the family and resisting the usual clichés surrounding young urban teens, ‘Paper Lane’ seeks to amuse its audience and also promote justinhustlin.com. If it’s a hit then there is scope for future production.

You will be paid £75 plus food and refreshment. This project is self financed. Check out http://www.justinhustlin.com & http://www.facebook.com/justinhustlin.

Anyone interested please get in contact via email info(at)justinhustlin.com. We will then send you a copy of the dialogue (which is very brief) and kindly ask you to send us a recording of your own rendition of it. Alternatively you can come to our office where we can record you.

Just thought I’d throw this up and share a little something with you all that’s been putting a smile on my face this week at Justin Hustlin HQ (a.k.a the Bakery)

Meet sally the sketchbook holder!

now I don’t think god intended sally to be a sketchbook holder, (infact I don’t even know where she came from??) but none the less she fulfils her role in the bakery rather well! Now I have a clutter free desk, to which I can make room for far more important things such as king sized toblerone etc! Mmmm

I think in our recent move we may have ‘accidentally’ inherited a few extra items along the way but hey i’m not complaining. So… if you have a messy desk, or you simply need to make a little more room for those midday snacks, get on down to your local dealer of random plastic things that hold stuff and get clutter free today!

On one of our adventurous nights out in Berlin we went to some random club which was really creepy. Can’t remember for the life of me what it was called but we decided to at least try and make a night of it. Our good friends Zezi and Irene were starting to get in the vibe when out of no where some a little German dude came in and started to shut down the dance floor. See the awesome moves as Zezi and Irene go head to head against some little German dude for the crown.

This vid is of Patta co founder ‘Gee’ talking about their recent collaboration with Converse and Le Le on 2 trainers and 1 reversible varsity jacket. This limited edition collabo came about to celebrate the stores 5th year anniversary.

One of the things I loved so much about this vid was Gee’s t shirt, it said “We love it when our friends become successful” thats wicked I’m really feeling that. Plus when we were at Bread and Butter in Berlin Patta threw probably the best party there, it was a madness trying to get in though.

Dalek was in Paris last week for the opening of his new exhibition with Mike GIANT at Magda Danysz gallery in Paris. Black Rainbow members NARBRU & MEL met with him and spoke about his new canvas art.

Team Hustlin was also there to check out his latest work, and it was pretty awesome. Look out for Shacky Sweet Tooth in the Ruby Red Cup Cake tee.

You have to check out this new mixtape from duo Chester French. They are the latest signing to Pharrells Star Trak label and they are hot.

They are two graduates from Harvard University that met on campus and started making music together in their freshman year. Their demo sparked alot of industry interest from the likes of Kanye West, Jermaine Dupri, Ryan Leslie but after meeting with Jimmy Iovine they ultimately decided to partner with Pharrell’s label, Star Trak, and Interscope Records to release the album.

They spent most of 2008 touring with NERD and Common among others but now they are set to release their album “Love The Future”.

The mixtape is called JACQUES JAMS, VOL. 1: ENDURANCE hosted by Clinton Sparks. Its banging with features from Diddy, Pharell, Common, Wale, Talib Kweli and more. Check out Dirty Dre’s favourite “I’m So Tall” and mine “What A World” feat Common.
