Justin Hustlin is a lifestyle inspired design label created for individuals in the pursuit of excellence. The label is a representation of this journey and conveys a strong positive mental attitude of being all you can be in life.

The inspiration behind the label stems from this way of thinking, to which an entire conceptual 2D Justin Hustlin' world has been created, complete with unique and colourful characters with their own individual backgrounds and storylines each representing various aspects of this journey.

These conceptual characters and designs are spread out across a handful of streetwear apparel, consisting of limited edition and small run, T's and hoods with attention paid to the smallest detail ranging from inside labels to the packaging of each individual garment.

New Era decided to hold a raffle to give away one of the pieces of artwork created on the night by Alfa.. guess who won it? none other than our very own Shacky Sweet-tooth! well done done old boy.. now all we have to do is figure out where the frig we’re gonna hang it in the Bakery?? shout out to Alfa for adding the finishing touches to it!

Drawing with Mike Giant

I have to say that since our good friend O.G. took us to the Mike Giant exhibition in Paris I have become quite an avid admirer of his work, he’s pretty sick! I came across this on the Rebel 8 blog which shows us visually the steps taken in his illustration design process. This is definitely a cool and insightful look into one of the more respected illustrators/tattoo artist in the world of art.
